Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex over its last three seasons. Her initial releases as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the series helping her 2012 eponymous debut album to make it into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015, was also in the Top Ten. The last decade saw she starred in Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and a number of television shows. After guest roles for All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed a recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' second season 2007,-2008. Kramer then appeared in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Her appearance on the show on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre which she played until midway through the show's final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 until the year 2012. She had signed a deal with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up in a One Tree Hill episode in the year 2011. By the middle of 2012, the song was featured on her debut entire album Jana Kramer. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. In order to reach her large fan base, Kramer continued to act in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five country single - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, in a duet with her helped the album achieve even greater success. Beginning in September 2016 her two month stint on 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. In the same year, it was like Christmas with Straight No Chaser, was a smash hit for adult modern.
